Firm Disciplinary Warning

Following the incidents that occurred after the match between MC Oran and MC Alger, the Media Cell of the Ligue de Football Professionnel (LFP) announces the initiation of strict disciplinary measures aimed at safeguarding the organizational integrity of the competition and the reputation of the national championship.

The LFP reiterates that compliance with stadium regulations is a mandatory obligation for all stakeholders without exception. Any breach of the regulatory framework governing media operations constitutes a serious violation affecting the credibility and proper conduct of the competition.

Based on on-site observations and the review of available audiovisual evidence, it has been established that certain accredited media representatives clearly violated the regulations, notably:

• Entering the pitch after the final whistle without official authorization;
• Conducting interviews and recording statements on the pitch outside the designated regulatory areas (mixed zone, press conference room).

The LFP considers such actions unacceptable and subject to immediate disciplinary response.

Accordingly, the sanctions that may be imposed include:

• Immediate withdrawal of accreditation;
• Temporary suspension of accreditation;
• Temporary ban from covering matches;
• Referral to the competent bodies for disciplinary review.

The LFP emphasizes that the regulations will be enforced in full and without leniency.

Any future recurrence will be considered an aggravating circumstance in the application of sanctions.
