Algeria crush Bahrain with five-goal win at the 2025 Arab Cup

 

 

The Algerian national team earned a big 5–1 victory over Bahrain in the second round of the FIFA Arab Cup Qatar 2025, delivering a highly effective attacking performance and clear control of the match.

 

Redouane Berkan opened the scoring in the 24th minute, before Bahrain equalized through Mahdi Abduljabbar (27’). Algeria quickly responded with two goals: the first by Adel Boulbina (30’) and the second by Yacine Benzia from the penalty spot (45+6’), ending the first half with a 3–1 lead.

 

In the second half, the “Greens” kept the same high tempo, with Redouane Berkan scoring his second personal goal—the fourth for Algeria—in the 48th minute. Adel Boulbina sealed the victory with a fifth goal in the 80th minute.

 

With this win, the national team boosts its points tally and moves significantly closer to qualifying for the next round, confirming its readiness and strong ambitions to compete for the title in this edition.
