JS Kabylie failed to impress in its first appearance in the group stage, losing 4–1 (2–0) in Cairo to Egypt’s Al Ahly, in a match hosted at Cairo International Stadium as part of Matchday 1 of Group B in the CAF Champions League.
The “Canaries” will have the chance to make amends next week when they host Tanzania’s Young Africans.
