MC Alger lost (2-1) this Friday, November 21, in Kigali (Rwanda), against the Sudanese side Al-Hilal SC, in the first matchday of the CAF Champions League group stage.
Abdelrazig Omar opened the scoring for Al-Hilal in the 45’+2 minute.
MCA managed to equalize in the second half thanks to a goal from Benhaoua in the 52nd minute.
Al-Ghorbal gave the Sudanese team a second goal in the 74th minute, allowing Al-Hilal to start the competition with a victory.
The Mouloudeens, who were better in the second half, will try to redeem themselves in their next group-stage match.
