Coordination meeting of the Professional Football League with the presidents of professional clubs

An evaluation and coordination meeting was held on November 4, 2025, via videoconference, bringing together the President of the Professional Football League, Mr. Mohamed El Amine Messloug, the League’s Secretary General, Mr. Mourad Bousafer, and the presidents of professional clubs.

The League President opened the meeting with a welcome address, during which he congratulated the Algerian clubs that qualified for the group stage of the African competitions — Mouloudia d’Alger and JS Kabylie in the Champions League, and USM Alger and CR Belouizdad in the Confederation Cup. He reaffirmed the League’s full support for these clubs throughout their continental journey to help them achieve positive results and go far in the competitions.

For his part, the Secretary General congratulated Algeria’s representatives for their well-deserved qualification and presented the meeting’s agenda, which included the following points:

  1. Support for professional clubs in implementing professional management in line with the directives of the Federal Bureau held on October 30, 2025.

  2. Presentation of the Algerian Football Federation’s project and mechanisms aimed at assisting professional clubs in improving their management, governance, and skills in accordance with professional requirements and CAF/FIFA standards.

  3. Presentation and explanation of Circular No. 63 concerning the winter transfer window, dated November 2, 2025, outlining the additional conditions for the second registration period of the 2025/2026 sports season.

  4. Evaluation of the first ten (10) rounds of the championship and presentation of the schedule for the remaining rounds until the end of the first leg, including postponed matches.

After the detailed presentation of the points by the League President and Secretary General, discussions were held with the club presidents, who welcomed this initiative of consultation and coordination by the Algerian Football Federation and the Professional Football League. They described it as a platform for constructive dialogue and exchange of views, especially on key issues under discussion, contributing to the development of Algerian football.

The club presidents also expressed their support and encouragement for the Algerian clubs participating in African competitions, wishing them success in representing Algeria in the best possible way on the continental stage.

Finally, the League reaffirmed that these consultation meetings will remain a well-established tradition in its working approach, as they ensure direct and responsible communication with professional clubs.
